“3D Printed Electronics Process for Enabling Novel Applications and Mass Production”, Presented by Martin Hedges, Neotech

This presentation will outline the current status of Neotech’s developments in 3D Printed Electronics (3DPE). It will review the technology fundamentals for building flexible process chains that enable both novel applications process and have scalability to mass manufacture. An application overview will be presented covering current developments in 3D circuits, antenna and sensors through to the first high volume production of 3D PE.

About Martin Hedges

Graduated BSc (Materials Science) from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1987. Completed a PhD in Materials Science in 1990 from UMIST (UK).

From 1991 to 2000 worked in international sales in advanced materials in the UK and Germany.

Founded the company Neotech Services MTP in Nuremberg in 2001

Function: To commercialise Novel Materials and Materials Processing Technologies with a focus on Printed Electronics.

Since 2009 the focus of the company is the development of 3D Printed Electronics. Daughter company Neotech AMT GmbH formed in 2012 to manufacture 3D Printed Electronics systems.
