Fully Additive – The Convergence of 3D Printing and 3D Printed Electronics – Presented by Johannes Hoerber, Product Development Manager, Neotech, at the 3D Printing Electronics Conference, which takes place on Jan 23, 2018 at High Tech Campus Eindhoven in The Netherlands.

This presentation will review current developments that combine 3D printed electronics into printed substrates to create full additively manufactured mechatronic systems.

A reconfigurable array of printing, pre- and post-processing techniques are combined to enable 100% CAD driven printed electronics manufacturing. The resultant flexible process chain can be easily reconfigured to cope with rapid changes in product type whilst retaining the ability to be scaled through to high volume manufacture. In addition, a review of current 3D printed systems, including antenna, heaters and sensors will be conducted.
